Subject: Quick Mill Vetrano rotary with 'PID' -- orders now being accepted

Orders are now being accepted for the amazing Quick Mill Vetrano Rotary
pump machine. ALL 304 Stainless E61 group, etc. etc.
The 'PID' permits dual mode - Single boiler / HX operation. Truly
total control over temp/pressure, precision, NO clicking, sticking,
drift or other problems that beset mechanical devices.

Did I miss something? Have you posted about why you now consider HX
machines OK? I'm interested in reading more about why you think this
one is suitable.
Here's just a little of what you previously said about HX machines:
"People do write / call and ask me: Can you PID my (brand X) HX
machine?? I refuse!"
"But then, I would never recommend any HX machine -- to anyone. "
"I would AVOID HX machines."
"I HAD one for six months and was GLAD to be rid of

Do the mods you've made to the Quick Mill Vetrano overcome all the
concerns that made you shy away from HX machines in the past? Is this

I agree with you Bernie, but why do you need to quote him? Those of us
with kill files/filters prefer to avoid the garbage he promulgates and his
attempts to take over this NG for self promotion. It is bad enough trying

the user can decide whether he/she wants otpimized espresso operation
or TRUE HX operation
and no, I still consider straight HX machines not OK. but that's just
me. apologies in advance to those who take another position!
