The name badge on my Rancilio Sienna was pretty crude. I can't tell from pictures if the Silvia's badge is a decal, a sticker, a silk screen, or etched in the metal. Can some Silvia owner clarify this for me? Thanks.

Do you still have the original heating element and seals? My label is a silver mylar(?) with black print. Randy "he be welded" G. http://www.EspressoMyEspresso.com

the CURRENT silvia badge is painted and plated plastic, mounted through 2 holes and held from behind the panel by 2 pushon metal 'nuts'. I don't have any OLD Silvias here right now just six NEW ones. What daveb posted is what I got on my Silvia in 11/05. It's a die-cast name badge held on with those two posts and round clips. It was a challenge to pry it off without denting the SS case. I used a 1/32" DIN sized panel punch to put my PID in the case, but had to come up with a solution for the two holes that the pegs fit through. I put some small SS screws through them. It looks like it's holding on the PID. 8) daveb wrote: > Harry, here is a picture of the current mounting method. > and for reference by others. > > http://www.flickr.com/photos/64955536@N00/246675286/ > > BTW, I do not know if they are available as a separate part. > > Dave > www.hitechespresso.com > > > Harry Moos wrote: > > The name badge on my Rancilio Sienna was pretty crude.
