Subject: Removing the plactic doser on a older Rocky grinder

I have my Rocky grinder for 5 years and have no complaints. However....I
would like to know if the plastic filter holder can be permanently removed
without screwing it up?

Thanks

Yes, it can be removed.
Hold the grinder upside down and remove the base. Be careful not to
damage the hopper.
With the base off you will see the two nuts holding the fork to the
grinder.
After I removed mine I used two plastic spacers (thick plastic
washers) and replaced the nuts and screws as I remember...

The forkectomy makes the grinder much more user friendly, IMO.

I typed that from memory- I removed mine about five years ago. Let me
know if you need it and I will review the procedure to be sure it is
accurate, but i think it is.
