I'm getting desperate to find an ordinary, dependable city roast of a quality coffee, Ethiopian by preference. I live in Los Angeles and would appreciate any tips by more experienced coffee connoisseurs.

Thanks for the tips. I live near Larchmont, where the two predominant chains (Peets and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf) are across the street from each other -- and there is nothing else at all. Oh, there's a Starbucks, but I was talking about, you know, _coffee_...
