I don't go to starbucks very often unless there is no place else to go. When
I do go to get a latte or cappuccino, I find 3/4 of the orders to be cold
drinks. These take a long time to make. They should have 2 lines, one hot
and one cold.

Just about the only thing I buy at Starbucks is their iced coffee. The
coffee for these is pre-made (usually, to give them credit, to an
appropriate strength); all they do is pour some into a cup of ice (too
much ice, usually, so ask them to go light on it).

Their milk shake things *do* seem to take some time to conc. The
employees seem to have to create the slush base on the spot; then there
are the additions (some blended in, some on top) of caramel, whipped
cream, additional flavorings and so on.

The idea of two lines, one for labor-intensive drinks and one for
coffee, sounds good. I doubt they'd adopt it.

I find that the only way that I can drink coffee is when all the extras
are added. (Doesn't matter where). But having stood in said line, I
would have to agree that two lines would be a good idea. I think I'll
hunt up a comment card in the store and suggest it.
