Subject: Starting another green coffee bean coop in Houston

I'm just getting into roasting my own green coffee beans (and having a great
time of it). I've bought sample packs of green beans from several online
dealers & pretty much know what I like; mostly everything. The problem I'm
having is what to do with all this coffee.

I buy a pound of this, a friend guides me to a pound of that, I read about
the latest find from Ethiopia & I have to have a pound of it too. Since I
only roast a quarter of a pound at a time the stuff is building up fast.

I'm looking for other coffee fanatics in the neighborhood who might be
willing to form a coop of sorts with the goal of dividing up the orders into
manageable quantities of beans. If anyone's interested email me & we'll see
where we can go from here.

Awesome Idea!!! You should get in touch with John F and JonR from the
coffeegeek forums and others also. They both are in the Houston area. I
believe JohnF posts here occasionaly. They are in contact with various
Vendors in the Houston area. JohnF distribtes coffee sometimes at
www.greencoffeebuying.club and is constantly buying bags of coffee.
JonR attends a houston homeroasting club also, I beleive. I hope that
getsyou going.

and what equipment does it require? If you'll educate me I might wanna
join your bandwagon.
