I know that most here are not in favor of pods and espresso, but for
those that are, there is a pod filter for the Rancilio

jlhufford.com has them in the 2-pod form. The 1-pod is backordered with
a long date.

Many thanks, Lloyd. I have been looking for these - just placed my
order.

You're welcome. It was just luck that I found them myself. In looking
for a place for a Sylvia that was close it just happened that they were
the one that had the pod filter.

Google sure didn't help.

Bad news. Shortly after placing my order, Hufford emailed me to advise
that the pod baskets for Silvia are "permanently out of stock."

Oops. I forgot to add, espressoparts has them also.

Hmm... Maybe I got the last 'double' they had? But I don't think so.
what they sent sure wouldn't do 2 ESE Pods, but it is a good double
filter.

But in fiddling around, the single filter that came with my Silvia does
a single pod just fine. Well, if you count almost no crema and not very
good as fine, it does! ;-)

While I rarely use it (got it and some pods for my wife who doesn't
like to grind or tamp), I have sucessfully used a Nuova Simonelli
Oscar pod filter with Silvia for over 2 years now. A friend who
is a coffee supplier gave it to me to try, and it works just fine
for ESE pods with a Silvia.
