Subject: Time to buy citric acid is now.


This time of year most grocery stores in the US will stock the pure citric
acid (AKA sour salt) in the area where they keep jars, lids, & other canning
supplies. These are usually in 1 or 2 pound jars for $2 - $6, enough citric
acid to burn through any boiler you might wish. ;)

Of course you can still buy it on eBay & some web sites. It's just that it's
right there in front of you so get some already & USE IT. If I never have to
look at another crudded up boiler in my whole life I would be happy.
