Subject: To Brikka owners...

I just got a new Bialetti Brikka in the mail today and it includes
something I have not found the use for. It looks like a metal cap,
with threads inside of it, about the size of a quarter and about 1/2
wide. It says Bialetti on it so it must be for something. Anyone know?
In was wrapped in a piece of paper, inside the top area, along side
the plastic measuring cup.

Thanks,
Dickie

It sounds like the "top hat" that goes on the little ring there. I
believe mine was attached already, so I did not find such a thing in the
top of mine, though I believe when I got mine the top was very loosely
screwed on.

So, not sure if it's this, or if you have some kind of problem or broken
Brikka, please explain some more.

The "top hat" is like this: there's a ring that you can't take off of
the Brikka, in the top section. This ring has threads. The "stovepipe"
section of the "top hat" screws onto this ring. What you "found" sounds
like what I'm calling here the stovepipe section. When both are screwed
together they jointly look like a "top hat."

Hope that helps, please post back when you see this message...
