Subject: Upgrading the burrs in a Krups grinder

Hi,

At the moment I have a Krups GVX2 grinder, which was fine for my old
delonghi pressurised PF, but I upgraded to a gaggia classic recently and am
getting a little frustrated with it. I'm getting nice crema (with mottling)
most of the time but I think this is more due to the hasbean beans than
anything I'm doing! Anyway once in a while the gaggia chokes and I end up
with the dreaded overpressure trickle as I've christened it :-(

So to combat this I've been looking for a new grinder but unfortunately real
life keeps getting in the way and I just can't afford to buy the ones that I
want at the moment. Maybe next year...

Until then though I'm wondering if there's a temporary solution. As I
understand it the main problem with the GVX2 is the crappy burrs. Upon
inspection it looks like the edge of the screws which hold the 'burr' on are
actually doing most of the grinding! Would it be possible to swap these
burrs for proper ones? If so, which ones do I need?

TIA

Matt
