Pardon this slight digression, but what reader allows you to access
alt.binaries.coffee to see the pic? I use Google for newsgroups, and it
seems to disallow access to any binaries group. I'm unwilling to pay
for a newgroup service provider as I'm not interested in downloading
images etc; is there a free service for occasional use such as to see
the pic you posted?

I'm not at all knowledgeable about the mechanics of newsgroup access, but I
just used my Outlook Express, and chose (on the recommendation of
tech-support for my IP) "news.sf.sbcglobal.net" as the newsgroup server . .
. there are probably many other ways
