Subject: giving some TLC to a used Rosito Bisani RR45 grinder

i've brought home a "broken" Rosito Bisani RR45 to see if a little elbow grease won't get it working right back to new. the only thing very obviously broken is the grind control collar, which was in two pieces before i Krazy Glued it together (was that a bad idea for any reason?). by tightening down the top burr, which attaches to the collar, i can get it to produce a very good, consistent grind. only problem is: if i don't hold the collar, the whole thing including hopper spins, loosening the top burr and ruining the setting. i know nothing about grinders, and even less about commercial ones. does anyone know how to stop this spinning? is it missing a piece?
