Any tips on espresso or coffee in Regina, Saskatchewan? I know Saskatoon has some hip joints. (No surprise- there is a University there!) Anything? Thanks! Good luck with the coffee. When you give up on that, try http://www.bushwakker.com/ I'm told it's a great brew pub. Fine brewpub indeed! Looked at the menu last night -- and some of the reviews. Voted as one of Canada's best - tall order indeed. Here in Victoria, we have Canada's original brewpub: Spinnakers... still mighty fine. Here is some coffee - espresso intel for Regina, Saskatchewan. Things are looking up! ----begin intel Apparently there are 3 coffee 'hoods in Regina: the downtown, cathedral, and south end, Roca Jack's used to be Regina's best. Apparently it has declined in the past few years. The coffee is still freshly roasted and not too bad. There is one downtown on Scarth and one on 13th just off Albert. For good coffee downtown there is Abstractions on Rose and Muddy Joe's, on Hamilton. In Cathedral district, there is Cafe Orange and the 13th ave Coffee House. Good coffee and Great food? Check out 13th ave coffee house. In the south end there's the Stonesthrow Cafe by the university and Jonny Beans - a newcomer and revealing good things. ---------source coffeegeek regional forums. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ www.coffeecrew.com Colin Newell's Daily Grind rnewell AT vcn DOT bc DOT ca \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
