Anyone have problems with the audible beep cue noises? I got a new HT
and went to fire it up, it went through a complete roast and cool down
cycle without any beeps to cue add beans, add time, etc. I called the
folks at coffeebeancoral.com, where it was ordered and await for a
call from their guy to tell me what to do and I thought I would pose
the querry to the group to see if you had any ideas while I wait.

It was run on a 30 amp dedicated circuit and it is the only thing
running therefore I do not see how volts would be a problem.

Any thoughts?

Definitely not right. Unless you are in a high ambient noise environment,
the beeps should be clearly audible. I roast in my garage and if I happen
to be in the kitchen with the solid core door closed, I can still easily
hear the beeps.

Volts is not a problem. The beeping should sound each time you press
the buttons upon selecting a startup roast level. If it beeped then,
the beeper itself is OK. Some folks with hearing frequency loss have
problems hearing the beepes. I had two running about two feet apart,
and when they beeped I could not tell which one it was.

It makes no sound at all when I press a setting button. My hearing is
exceptional

Then IMO, there is no doubt that it has a problem. Might be a bad
solder connection at the buzzer where it is mounted on teh PC board,
or just a bad buzzer.
