the beeps should be clearly audible. I roast in my garage and if I happen to be in the kitchen with the solid core door closed, I can still easily hear the beeps. The beeping should sound each time you press the buttons upon selecting a startup roast level. If it beeped then, the beeper itself is OK. Some folks with hearing frequency loss have problems hearing the beepes. I had two running about two feet apart, and when they beeped I could not tell which one it was. Might be a bad solder connection at the buzzer where it is mounted on teh PC board, or just a bad buzzer. Randy "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" G. http://www.quiknet.com/~frcn/Coffee/Coffee.html |
