Subject: coffee alties gathering at SCAA in Long Beach

We should begin to think about a plan for meeting during the SCAA
conference in Long Beach, May 4-7. If we can get a room where small
batch roasting would be permissable, I can bring my Computer Controlled
Roaster. Perhaps the SCAA lab might possibly be available; then we
could make espressos until we overdose on the caffeine, unless Jim is
making them in which case we can experiment with underdosing.......hi!

Jeff, have you approached the Hottop folks?
and I'll be organizing a little get together at the "Yard House" in
LB, near the show. there will be NO coffee served, but they have 180+
beers on tap.

The Jarrett's have usually organized a pizza get-together on the
second or third evening after the exhibit hall closes.
There is no "c-Member Track" this year, and I expect the SCAA staff
will have their hands full at HQ during the event. So, if you want to
rent a hotel room to demonstrate your machine, I suggest you make your
reservation early.
