Subject: decent, inexpensive grinder for drip

Any recommendations? A Solis? A Bodum? A couple of options at different prices would be great. It's for people who make only Melitta- type cone drip. They use a whirly-blade grinder now.

I agree & recommend the Cuisinart (less than $50) for French press or drip everyday it's a great entry-level burr machine & I've given it as a gift a few times with rave reviews from the giftees...
