Hey Kids, Gonzo here. Life's been crazy. I was reflecting on the past year: one year ago I wasn't married and I had no children. One year later.... ;) Thankfully I have a beautiful wife who, while not claming to be a coffee drinker by any stretch of the imagination, indulges me with the coffee hobby. And from time-to-time I make it back here to my old digital stomping grounds (no pun intended... really) to catch up on the threads. But I've not noticed much posting for certain green coffee purveyors and so I'd like to give props to my friends over at Coffeeproject.com. I don't buy as often as I used to but I still get treated well from that group when I do. Check 'em out. Gonz ps- this was not a paid advertisement; just a hardy "thank you and let me show you I like you" for a particular on-line vendor

Thanks, guys! :) It is nice to have a Welcome Back. You know what? I was reflecting the other night how much change there's been in the specialty coffee world this past decade or so. But then I hopped on here and realized that some things (and people *grins*) don't change. As I was contemplating the end of my coffeeshop journey the other day, I thinking about your trip over here before I opened up shop. You oughta see the line out the door on a busy morning. :) North Sullivan (never did quite get the traffic/flow thing down all that well)

Well, well. I still think of you when i wander around our local dept stores and look at all the poncy designer kettles - and smile as experience has taught me they look good but are difficult to clean the scale out, the steam hits your hand if you take the lid off to refill them and they are difficult to fill through the spout. happy days. A little Gonz, eh? Well done. regards Ken " the English one" W
