Subject: replacement steam knob for older Gaggia Coffee machine

I have an "older" Gaggia coffee machine, white machine with the
steam knob on the front (not sure of exact vintage; I got
it at a garage sale a couple of years ago). The steam knob
has now cracked and almost entirely broken off. Does anyone have
suggestions for a replacement? (Do the new knobs fit the older
machines?
The knobs look quite different, so my guess is no...)

You might look at ebay item 4470795397, it is labeled for
a different machine but it looks somewhat similar to the coffee knob,
maybe the seller would know if it fits?
