Subject: thread size for La Marzocco giggler
|
Hi, I'm going to try to make an adapter to use a 0.6 mm La Marzocco giggler on my Techno. I've ordered a giggler and a couple of 1/8" BSPP to 1/8" BSPP adapters from McMaster-Carr to play with. I have one question and one assumption I wanted to check. The giggler has a small head with no slots or hex features attached to a threaded body. From that, I assume that it's designed to have the water flow from the head toward the threaded end, since otherwise it would unscrew. Is that correct? Is there a sealing washer of some kind used? And what is the thread size (please tell me it's not 1/16" BSPP or some such nonsense)? Thanks in advance. Best, David
